Amara Bray - Sculpt 'n Burn
Hi, I'm Amara Bray. I started sweating with the Chix over 4 years ago, and quickly found my "fitness soul mates" I certified in Tae Bo (cardio-kickboxing) in 2007, and have been teaching ever since. Last year I decided to challenge myself further and entered the NGA bodybuilding and figure show in the fall where I took 1st place in Masters, and 2nd in short divisions! I learned plenty about weightlifting and body sculpting that I'd love to share with you in my "Sculpt and Burn" class, or even one on one as personal training. I change it up every time to keep you from getting bored, along with fresh music to keep your energy going through this challenging class! I also love to cook and to eat, (I do some wedding catering for friends) and that's another motivation to build some muscle. You're not going to bulk up with my class, I promise! You're going to look tighter, leaner, and more sexy -with the best metabolism of your life!
Ani Nelson - Zumba®, Zumba® Toning
I've been teaching Zumba at Sweaty Chix since April, 2010. I love Zumba simply because it is the most fun way to get fit! I've been in the Health and Exercise Industry for about 10 years, working mostly in Physical Rehab. Besides Zumba, I'm AFAA certified, and Advance Pilates certified. I'm a mother of a great 4 year old, married to an amazing guy. I'm also a Wellness Coach, My purpose is to help people reach their nutrition and fitness goals in a healthy, simple and fun way. I love seeing the transformation that people experience with this exciting approach to wellness. I graduated from College with a Health and Exercise Science degree, but when I was introduced to Zumba, I got hooked. It's something that I don't think I'll get tired of doing. I was a dancer and co-choreographer for kids' shows in Lima-Peru. Growing up in Peru I was introduced to a variety of music and rhythms from a very young age. Dancing is a big part of my culture and nature. I enjoy adding some South American flavor to my Choreographies. Besides Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia and Reggaeton. I teach Samba, Belly Dancing, Calypso, Capoeira, Flamenco, Tango, Festejo, Jive, ChaCha, Disco, Hip Hop, Tahitian, Quebradita, Bolliwood African and Axe. This variety makes Zumba a great muscle shocker and also helps to bring that party atmosphere that I love, and I'm sure you will too!! I'm certified in Zumba and also Zumba Toning, which is the perfect combination of cardio dance and light weight resistance training. Come try the funnest hottest way of fitness...Zumba style!!

Jeannie Jaynes- Zumba®
Hello, my name is Janene but everyone calls me "Jeannie". I believe I got the nickname because I tend to be full of energy and the name reflects the fun I enjoy having in my classes. I started out working when I was very young. I had always had an interest in health but I was never fit. I started on my career as a Massage Therapist and enjoyed 10 years of owning my own business, being a teacher for Provo College and many other amazing institutions. But I found myself doing what so many of us do, I was taking care of everyone else and not myself. After I had gained 60 lbs I decided it was time to find away to make my physical health more of a priority. So I certified with the American Fitness Aerobics Association, and since then I have certified in almost every format of fitness there is. I have found the more I certify the more I can blend the knowledge I have to help keep my classes fresh and crazy fun! Besides it's a great excuse to learn fun exercise formats such as Zumba, Hip Hop Hustle, and Hot Hula! Of course I have lost the 60 lbs and I enjoy a fitness level with my friends, family, and myself that I had only dreamed of as a sickly child. I also get to wake up every morning to the love of my life Nathan. We have 3 boys whom are the light of our lives. I spend everyday trying not to blink because they are growing up so fast. When I'm not at home enjoying nights with the family, I am out teaching a class. There is something amazing about being able to teach a group like the ones you find at Sweaty Chix. It's like going out with your friends and laughing, sweating, and inspiring each other to do more, become stronger, and push it just a little bit harder.

I love working out with all my Sweaty Chix!!! I started working out with Sweaty Chix August 2010. I am a mother of 7 and had put my life on hold like all mothers do. So when Sweaty Chix came to Salem, I jumped on board, and was determined not to give up!!! At first I was the only one in the class... This allowed me to get to know some of these amazing instructors really well!!! They have a vast amount of knowledge and were willing to share with me so that I could accomplish my goals!! They were awesome at giving support and cheering me on as I slowly made progress!!! A year has now past and I have lost 45 pounds and 5 sizes!!! I have become a Sweaty Chix junkie!!! I've been teaching step aerobics and yoga for over 10 years, first certified with AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America) and then with yogafit. Michelle Thornton- Zumba®
My name is Michelle and Zumba has been a part of my life when I certified in 2008. I always say I have the best job in the entire world. I have taught for Sweaty Chix since October of 2010. The Sweaty Chix Zumba family keeps growing, and the people I have met are truly inspirational. I'm very passionate about dancing so Zumba ignites that every time I teach a class. I enjoy being creative and adding my own choreography and flare to my classes. I absolutely love all the different rhythms in Zumba. You get to experience the culture through the music and movements of each dance. Getting lost in the music and the smiles, sweat and fun I have in class make the time fly by. I always feel energized and empowered after Zumba. Making working out a priority can be a difficult decision but you will never regret it.
When I'm not teaching, I'm with my family. I have been married to my husband for 9 years and we have three energetic boys whom I love with all my heart. I had my third son in January 2011 and thanks to Sweaty Chix I have lost the baby weight and feel amazing. There is nothing better then helping people achieve their fitness goals and being motivated by those around you. Come try a class and you will catch the Zumba Fever too!
